This includes the same trace board set up, weights and line as the manual All You Need Package, however the fishing reel winch is electric!

Its unique design means it operates on a belt drive system.

If the line is too heavy (because of all the fish on it) the belt will slip, the speed will slow and the risk of breakage is reduced.

This is better than having to adjust the speed setting manually as you may be too slow and the line may have already broken.

The core of the reel spool is steel, ensuring it can take the tension on the line. This electric fishing reel winch can average over 1000 metres in 15 minutes.

The winch comes with two batteries but only needs one to operate. You change the batteries when the power drops. In testing with a Powertiki and 270lb mainline, with several fish attached, there was approximately 2500 m of line winched per battery charge.

The winch fits easily onto the Powertiki Beach Cart. The carts, which are not included in the winch package can be bought separately for $550

The winch also has a cut-out relay switch that will stop the motor if it has become too hot, allowing it to restart once it has cooled down. This will prevent the motor burning out, and is an additional performance feature to the belt drive system.

The newly added feature is a fully sealed compartment to protect the motor and battery from the elements, (not shown in the photos at present).
